Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition Print E-mail

mount_kilimanjaro._fox_mountain_guidesMount Kilimanjaro is the highest point in continental Africa, one of the seven summits, and a great intro to high altitude climbing. If you are interested in spectacular venues, exotic locals on a distant continent, and climbing at high altitude, a Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School expedition is just the ticket for you. Unlike all the peaks in the US's lower 48, Kilimanjaro reaches up into the Tanzanian clouds, summiting at over 19,000 feet, a majestic inspired and continental crown. Also, Kilimanjaro is the perfect peak to prepare for other high altitude objectives, and our guides will teach climbers how to adapt their clothing, their diet, and their climbing to accommodate the strain and fatigue induced by thin air.

Packages to Kilimanjaro are competitively priced and professionally guided and instructed. Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive instruction in acclimatization so that clients can stay comfortable, stay healthy, and stay focused on this unique experience. Our instructors know that the total experience of ascent is what makes Kilimanjaro special, that the journey is just as important is the summit, and both are irrelevant if climbers aren't healthy enough to enjoy. Have a look at the itinerary and high altitude to curriculum to see how Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School will get you to the summit.

Recomendations

"How can I learn to climb? I asked all around Charlotte and I got the same answer from Jessie Browns, Inner Peaks and Great Outdoor Prov. Co. All three said to contact Fox Mountain Guides because they were the best out there. So with 3 Fox brochures in hand I called to schedule the Rock Climbing 101 Course. I then took the Single Pitch Lead Course and then the ‘Master Class’ in December from Adam himself. It's been the best money I've spent for climbing yet!"
