Instructors and Guides Print E-mail

We are currently looking for employees for single pitch Instructor and multi-pitch Guide positions.

We are always looking for the most talented, experienced and professional guides in the USA to work for Fox Mountain Guides here in North Carolina and on our programs throughout the world! If you are interested in working for us please look through the minimum requirements before applying. After applying, interviews, reference checks and acceptance we start your training with Fox Mountain Guides. We don't just hire guides, we train, apprentice and further the careers of our guides who wish to work here in NC, or out west and across the globe. This is the reason we can say "we have the highest trained and certified guides in the Southeast working for us!"

If you meet these prerequisites for an interview and are interested in working for the Southeast's most professional guide service please follow the application procedure. DO NOT CALL. If you do not meet the minimum requirements and still fill out the forms you fail the interview at the first hurdle! Remember, these are MINIMUM requirements and we select the best candidates who apply. Most have way in excess of the minimum requirements. If you do not meet our prerequisites please contact us (via email) and we will be happy to give advice on training and make suggestions on which of the guide services in the area will employ you to gain experience before coming to work for us in the future.

Recomendations

"How can I learn to climb? I asked all around Charlotte and I got the same answer from Jessie Browns, Inner Peaks and Great Outdoor Prov. Co. All three said to contact Fox Mountain Guides because they were the best out there. So with 3 Fox brochures in hand I called to schedule the Rock Climbing 101 Course. I then took the Single Pitch Lead Course and then the ‘Master Class’ in December from Adam himself. It's been the best money I've spent for climbing yet!"
