Rock Climbing Instructor Workshop

Instructor Training

This workshop is for recreational climbers interested in working on summer camp climbing programs, guide services or organizations like Outward Bound as a rock climbing instructor. The workshop will cover risk management skills and practices as well as many technical skills associated with being a model climbing instructor. This course will teach the climbing instructor how to effectively manage a group of novice climbers at a single pitch climbing site. We cover all the topics listed below showing new up to date, simplified methods and techniques in the world of climbing instruction, setups, equipment and rescue.

This workshop has no certification linked to it and is not an 'AMGA training or certification' course. For AMGA Climbing Instructor and Guide training click here.
